I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed with this game. The good that I can say is that the presentation is very cool, and on the surface, the gameplay can be quite fun, but unfortunately, I felt that this was an obnoxious but thankfully brief experience. (Despite being a brief clear time, the length of the run is pretty decent.)
First, to adjust speeds, you have to pause the game, which i found super disorienting, so I figured instead to just grind through the game on default speed. Second, your little options will sometimes spiral out of control and blow up, which can really screw you over on a few boss fights. (Stage five's boss is particularly obnoxious with this.) Homing missile attacks from the second sub boss of the final stage can be some of the most annoying things to avoid sometimes, especially without your weapon/armor. The final boss is also very cheap. Pulling that fight off without your weapon/armor would be insane since you'll most likely get hit by a stupid green orb on the first phase.
One other interesting thing to note is that hit detection makes absolutely no sense, and sometimes you can fly through lasers without any repercussions. Musha does have its fun moments, but it also has too many glaring issues that make me want to bury the dev team in used cat litter
