Firstly, big shout out and thanks to TEAMLAGO for the original video.

Here you will find 3 examples of the loop, optimized to do the least amount of damage (in order to get the most amount of loops) all failing at more or less the same point in the sequence.

I wouldn't claim that this is conclusive but everything I know about the marvel series and this new game, plus the evidence presented in this video leads me to believe that this is not an infinite combo. It would seem ye olde hit stun deterioration (you know, that thing out of mvc3, that we know is also in this game) prevents this and, I imagine, all similar loops from actually being infintes. In fact, if anyone ever tells me they've found an infinite in this game, unless they can show me 20 reps, i probably won't believe them. Having said that, there is something I'd like to bring up.

The super observant ninja's among you may be thinking 'what about that infinite prevention thing? eh, desk?'

Well, firstly as I don't think this is an infinite combo, it has no role to play here. However, it's not crazy to think that it might have kicked in at some point in this combo. Testing and speculating this early and without access to training mode is difficult (I really, really went out of my way to set up and test the example featured in the IPS video). Maybe the simple hit stun deterioration from the previous game is enough to prevent all regular combo infinites? And the proper 'flip out, infinite prevention system' is there to cover the more glitchy end of things and maybe the infinite combos that become possible (and maybe even become easy) when using Gems? In that case, what are the actual conditions for making it happen? At his point it's unclear and close to impossible to test with just the story mode demo. We can definitely all argue about it though.

Until next time fellow watchers of youtube, Good day!
