This is a showcase of my town in Animal Crossing on the Gamecube emulated through Dolphin. I began this playthrough around 1st of January 2020.
I got most of the furniture through their normal means, like Nook's Cranny, talking and trading wtih villagers, and getting lucky with the minigames in the Igloo during Winter season.
As for wallpapers and carpets, I got them through Saharah and Wendell respectively. The biggest issue trying for 100% was obviously getting lucky at Gracie's button mashing controller destroying minigame and hoping to get a shirt you haven't gotten before. If it were a duplicate, that's a reset and back to square one.
Redd was another issue of this playthrough because getting him to arrive at your town was purely RNG based, along with the items he sells. They could be either duplicates or items you haven't marked as gotten yet.
The Island exclusive items that you get from visiting your local island after talking with Kapp'n, I was forced to use Nook Codes to obtain them since it was a difficult task to look for guides online how to access your island on an emulator.
The Post Model was another highlight of the playthrough. I managed to do the infamous Train Dupe glitch, that involves save data manipulation and leaving bell bags on the ground before traveling, and then picking them back up after you come back. It took me roughly a week to get to 999,999,999 bells.
As for the holiday and event items, I got them during the date they happened.
Also I forgot to mention, my starting fruit was the Cherry. Which means I could obtain all other fruits through villagers and other means, except the Orange. I had to make another town on a different save file and obtain it from there.
Around the 70% mark, I started looking for Wisp and catching his spirits, so I get items that I had no luck in getting that involve gyroids, lottery furniture and of course, Redd items.
I was pretty satisfied with the villagers I had in town with me. Most of them are old time favorites that I had in my original Animal Crossing town back in 2013 like Mitzi, Olivia, Roald, Admiral, Bob, Gabi, Tabby and many others.
Having spent so many hours playing through this amazing childhood game trying to get furniture and items I've never gotten before, was truly a great lifetime experience for me.
I hope you enjoy watching and take care.
Also huge shoutouts to BrianMp16 and Coldeggman for inspiring me to 100% the game.
