0Mazan: Flash of the Blade is what you get when you combine Sega’s The House of the Dead, Namco’s Time Crisis and a Wiimote before the Nintendo Wii ever existed. It’s one of my favorite retro gaming hidden gems of all time! Sadly it was released too late to become a Dreamcast game but at least we have it on the Sega NAOMI! Retro games fun incoming!

On this episode we are looking back at Mazan: Flash of the Blade on the Sega NAOMI arcade board, which is an improved Dreamcast spec for the arcades. And its my favorite Unported Arcade game I've ever covered on the channel. Shockingly it's also NOT made by Sega...but my NAMCO. Retro gaming curve ball! But it's basically a beat em up video game...played from the first person perspective and it shares a lot of similarities with lightgun shooters like The House of the Dead from Sega. (horror gaming, fixed perspective, on rails, etc)
It's basically the Nintendo Wii and Wiimote before it ever existed...which makes you wonder why Namco never ported this to the Nintendo Wii? Oh well...retrogaming miss!
But for Sega its a very rare and hard to find video game...just how I like em!
