Today we went to get sand with the skid-steer loader. My girlfriend gave it a try for the first time, figuring out the controls and getting the hang of it. There were a few funny moments and some near misses, but we made progress. The machine did its job, and by the end of the day, we had the sand where we needed it. And I was so proud of her. A good mix of learning and teamwork. We needed the sand to make a foundation for our new chicken house, a building project in the garden. The whole family is looking forward to that.
