In today's episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using the Mage! Mage is a complicated skull who has developed a bit of a bad reputation, including for a long time with myself. I used to consider the Mage to be a bit on the bad side of skulls, but that was because I wasn't aware of just how much better he becomes with the Manatech inscription. Manatech makes or breaks this skull, specifically Manatech 3, which increases casting speed. A good amount of Mage's skills freeze him in place while he's casting for a long time, which leaves him open and vulnerable to taking a lot of damage, but this can be overcame with the power of Manatech, which also thankfully has a ton of powerful items in it. The go to archetype for Mage is ability spam items, which is what we'll be utilizing here, alongside Pikeman! How will this duo fair in the Dark Mirror?
