In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, we'll be playing a run with Chief Guard! If you don't remember this skull, he was the skull Little Bone takes in the tutorial. He's not available anywhere else in the game without mods, but we DO have mods! Chief Guard, however, as you can maybe imagine, isn't exactly...fully fleshed out. He was designed solely for the tutorial, which has one enemy in it, and that enemy is even weaker than most enemies you'll encounter in Normal Mode, so Chief Guard doesn't deal a ton of damage, since he was only designed to fight this one enemy basically. He also has extremely long skill casting, which means you have to have Manatech 3 to make him even baseline usable. However, as we know, needing Manatech 3 isn't even inherently a downside since Manatech 3 is actually very powerful, and it's attached to many good items as well. We'll be building an Arson run to go with our two fire based skulls, who ironically each don't actually have any Arson synergy built into them. How will Chief Guard fair in the cruel, unforgiving Dark Mirror as the tutorial skull who doesn't even make it out of there?
