Total War is THE best looking strategy video game series by far, and has maintained an insanely high level and standard of visuals ever since the series' inception. Total War has been going on for over 20 years, and has in that time evolved drastically in terms of visual fidelity and performance. But is newer always better? Does the latest game in the series, Warhammer 3, look better than Rome 2? Empire? Or even Rome? In this video, I scrutinize the visual and graphical evolution of the Total War series from start to finish.
