Bio: Being an Oddity, Vaikaishun is almost never noticed by humans that venture into the Stream, as that subclass of Mediacre is always underlooked. No human would want to take the time to ask her about her inflatable tail, which she stitched to herself as she was born without one. Nobody but the resident monsters spend some time with her, and truly appreciate her specialty. Vaikaishun is super durable, not even the biggest of projectiles can shred her skin, she’s essentially a living riot shield. But that durability isn’t limited to just physical endurance, somehow, someway, darkness around her just moves away, making her visible when the lights go out. And when she was injected with a zombie parasite, she just walked (or floated) it off like it was nothing. This goes to show that more travellers should pay more attention to the Oddities, they’re some of the most fascinating monsters to ever exist in 22-AP.
