One of my most anticipated games of 2022 was Faith: The Unholy Trinity. Developed by a solo developer, Airdorf Games, who also self-published the first two chapters of the trilogy in 2017 and 2019. The third chapter being published by New Blood Interactive in October 2022. Faith is a pixel survival horror game inspired by the era of classic 8-bit gaming and the 1980s “Satanic Scare”.

In the game you play as a priest and use your holy crucifix to perform exorcism, fight back against possessed cultists and demons, and cleanse haunted objects. But is the game TOO old school for this day and age? How engaging is the gameplay? And most importantly: is it scary?
