My Thoughts On Return to Monkey Island
11Before the April of 2022 I'd have never dared to believe that Ron Gilbert would ever get to make another Monkey Island game. But then, on April Fools’ Day of all days, Gilbert casually announced that he decided to make another Monkey Island game, which he along with Dave Grossmann had worked on in secret for two years. The game soon came out in September of the same year developed by Ron Gilbert's company, Terrible Toybox, and published by Devolved Digital. Was the 31-year long wait since Gilbert's and Grossmann's Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge in 1991, worth it? Does Return to Monkey Island deliver and is it everything we had hoped for?
