Otto Crosswind, former Claymation animator and experimental/variety content creator, discloses why he chooses to now place a greater emphasis onto vlogging, why he started making content creations to begin with, what kind of target audience he has in mind and what he will do in terms of an end-game phase in his video making career (i.e. how many years it will take before he decides to take his content to the next level and discontinue YouTube for who knows how long).

Claymation is not easy to do on a weekly basis, you guys. Animation processes in many forms take a long time, even if you are skilled and/or prepared to do them (like having a team effort is concerned with). And because I need to learn confidence plus build up my many other soft skills as well as other valuable lessons thru on-camera presence among other buildable things, vlogging is becoming more of a priority at this point... So I will now place more focus on that as my new and upcoming selected niche.

I am not throwing Claymation away, just benching it into a back pocket just incase it blows up in the future (and it very well could) but no longer leading the channel with them and yet will still upload stopmotion whenever available - "Project Tether" or other animated series ideas are still intact as far as this. Vlogging meanwhile will include main vlogs, deep docs, experimental content, music OSTs, philosophies and other forms of content types.

Those that choose to stick with the channel through thick and thin will, I assure them, find solace and grace through the many other developments I undergo as I improve my creation habits, and those that do not I won't hold it against them. Nonetheless, my decision to choose my niche is final (for the meantime) and I will carry out the videos with a concentration of at least one, two or three or more videos per week using it.

As for the other topics, I cover a little bit of a rather unique perspective for the why... its not the only why but it works as a standalone. I also have a thinly summarized target audience goal, its rather controversial but it also gets strait to the point. The end-game part is really confusing especially concerning how ruthless its own trimming of video was, so to offer clarity its really just about giving hope for how wise it would be to EITHER limit my YouTube presence someday or go indefinitely. With the whole video, it was actually 25 minutes maximum and trimmed down to these three, so quite literally what you see is indeed what you get.

I hope this description nails both keyword algorithms and curious viewers alike lol. Like, share, subscribe with the notification bell turned on, comment and await more of what will mostly be vlogging with certain claymations at a time and experiments in-between. You never know what you don't! Follow me on Twitter @nodetact and on Discord at Otto Crosswind#4525. As always, thanks to the Newtubers community and my audiences on here and elsewhere. Good luck! :D
