Ranked number 79 (as of August 31st 2014 with a score of 8.35) on the lemon64 top 100 is Myth: History in the Making. Released on the NES as Conan: The Mysteries of Time this game was published by System 3 (who were later renamed Studio 3 Interactive). It was Produced by Mark Cale and Jonathan Dean, coded by Peter Baron with graphics by Bob Stevenson and music by Jeroen Tel.
This game is good. I'm saying that now because when I first started playing it I didn't think so, and I say so early in the video. I'd played it a few times before now and I didn't know what the crap to do, this resulted in a bad game experience. So I looked up the instruction booklet (not for controls as much as for what I was missing - a first level strategy guide.)
Once you have the idea of how to play the game it's not nearly as hard as it looks. The controls are pretty spot on, the music is killer, the graphics are very good and the game flows well. I highly recommend checking this game out. (and watching the video if you want to know how to beat the first level, the only thing I missed was I wasn't expecting the Medusa so soon and didn't have my shield ready).

This is a great game and a must play.
