Cyph's Experience:
The Aegis Knight can be rather unwieldy for the new. What he has though, is good attack speed but slows down a lot when he attacks anything with his shield bash techniques, pretty unusual. But to be frank, for what the shield is worth we often forget it exists due to habits of daily grind. The best medicine with the Aegis Knight is still to play prudently, but you can still take your chances with perfecting shield blocks. Remember, the shield block is useless if it's a multihit attack as there is no stun effect on monsters.
On Boss Fight:
First off, whether Hell Slayer will be useful quite depends on his course of attack as it's pretty random. Secondly, keep your skill set on Sword magic. MP gain is good, so standard combos will slowly wear Aranya down while keeping up with skill rushes. Divine Slasher will be your main counter against her attacks while your main skill will be Flame Buster.
Extreme Skill: Hell Slayer
Ronan summons the Tempest Guardian for a longer 45 second duration, in which the Tempest Guardian attacks enemies on it's own with it's two attacks, a dual slash and the energy wave attack. Oddly, this skill is ridiculously lacking in power despite the guardian having a longer duration. Debatable on whether it's worth using.
