Nancy Drew: Mystery of the Seven Keys Part 3
4Part 3 of the playthrough of Nancy Drew: Mystery of the Seven Keys! In this part, I do a lot! First I visit Zlatý Custom Jewelry and open the safe. I then finally open the DEGAS file on the laptop and compare the file to Vladéna's appraisal. Afterward, I visit Leo in his office, but he is not there. I solve the wall puzzle in his office and discover the underground tunnels. I then help Adela with Cyberblock, go on the Haunted History of Prague tour at the museum, open the artifact while on the tour, and open the trunk at Aparát. Lastly, I find the hidden alchemy lab in the tunnels and solve a few puzzles there.
I do like the game, but I also have some issues. I love that there are puzzles throughout the game, but it is not always clear how to solve the puzzle or even get started. For example, I did not understand how to solve the puzzle with the gauge, and for the wall puzzle, it took me a while to realize the panels on the sides are clues for the order the pieces need to be in. As a side note, I also did not like that Cyberblock is repeated so many times! Also, the tunnels are a maze. I got caught so many times that I had to cut it out of the video. I do have the strategy guide for the game, but the map of the tunnels is not helpful at all. Lastly, the order you have to do certain events is not clear either. In the previous part of the game, Leo said to stop by his office later. However, it is not clear when later is as there is no indication in the task list. If I did not follow along with the strategy guide, I would be lost. Also, from Nancy's comment about the Haunted History of Prague, I thought I had to do the tour at night, but I needed to do the tour to progress in the game. I did know that you could do the tour at any time including during the day until much later! That said, I am excited to share the final part of the game soon.
