0And a bit more Brawlhalla for you guys! Yes, I was salty as all hell during this episode. I just wanted to win! It's so annoying, Jordan is always so much better and quicker to grasp the game mechanics than I am. So sure, since we started playing at the same time I had really no hope to beating him, but I still wish I could! I guess I did, once. And then I lost my edge and lost again and again. Mer. So sad. Much cry. And he just laughs!
See, and the problem is, I don't want to be let to win either. I want to win because I can, not because someone else held themselves back.
I get crazy competitive in some games though. One day, maybe I'll record us playing his brothers in Call of Duty, Halo, Smash Bros or Mario Kart racing- all of those get ridiculously attempt. It's sad, because in most cases I'm about the same level as the thirteen year old. But sometimes I win drastically. Like, in Call of Duty, we've come up with a new fair game mode that has me and 13yo on a team and we can use whatever weapons we want but usually use shotguns, and on the other team is Jordan and 17yo and they can only use knives/throwing knives, but they have unlimited sprint/ superspeed or whatever. And those games are always SO CLOSE and it's always so intense. Down to like one point difference, I think we usually go to whichever team was fifty points? Then in Halo playing free for all its usually Jordan or 17yo who win by a mile, usually Jordan, while 13yo and I are left in the dust. Unless we are playing griffball, in which 17yo and I are on one team and 13yo and Jordan are on the other and it gets very loud as we are all screaming at each other to get the ball.
Mario Kart usually I'll come in the top 4, but it honestly depends on what CC we are doing. Sometimes I do well, sometimes I'm right near the back and it's awful. Jordan pretty much always wins, but 17yo sometimes gives him some competition. As for smash bros, that one can really be for anyone. I've dominated in quite a few matches, but I'll just as easily be the first one out. It's kind of random if I do well on that.
Mostly, when we have the boys over, it turns into a whole ton of yelling in maybe a bad way but it's fun. But it gets really loud really quick. And I'm just as much a culprit for it.
