Three Royal Navy explosives experts are set to head to Afghanistan in the fight against deadly roadside bombs. Chief Petty Officer (Diver) Kev Amaira, Petty Officer (Diver) Simon Crew and one other who can't be identified are all from the Fleet Diving Unit 2 based at Horsea Island in Portsmouth. They will spend six months supporting the British Army in training Afghan forces in bomb disposal operations. The trio are due to leave in the next two to three weeks.
