The time has come for 2 LANCS to return to the UK and make way for their replacement, 2 YORKS.

Based at Episkopi Garrison in Cyprus for three years, they have been one of the longest serving theatre reserve battalions, clocking up 15 and a half months in the role.

Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Robbie Boyd has been speaking to British Forces News as he reflects on the battalion's time on the island.
