31Necronomicon: Dawning of Darkness is a 2001 horror point and click adventure title for the PC and Playstation which is inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft. Set in New England in 1927, the game tells the story of William H. Stanton who receives a strange visit from his longtime friend Edgar. As William investigates the cause of Edgar's behavior, he's drawn into a dark world involving the occult and the titular Necronomicon.
In part one, after our visit from Edgar, we go into town to talk to the locals and get some information behind Edgar's strange behavior.
