For the first time in the Need for Speed series. NFS Shift was the game which was a contender back in the day to show a bit more simulating side of driving cars but also on the official race tracks. Although games like Underground 2 or Pro Street already had track racing elements put into the game. NFS Shift was really the first one which got tons of real motorsport cars and also race tracks.

Here the Cover/Introduction car the BMW M3 GT2 with it's official livery and Nurburgring Nordschleife track will be presented as the gameplay.

I played it on keyboard with no assists and hardest difficulty as most of the time. It wasn't easy, it wasn't every time smooth driving especially for a comeback to this game in such a strong Rear wheel drive car. But it was fun and a close finish with a slide into the finish line ending the race ;)
