"Need for Speed" The new beginning they said as it was the series reboot welcoming again a official only "NFS" naming in the title. Was it a nice reboot or a game at that time? I would say it was a good game, but it definitely had it's issues. Problems with slow Police AI or too stiff or less responsive handling and Brake to Drift mechanics or stability issues made it's impact on the players.
Although... the graphics remains to be probably the most photorealistic graphics of the whole NFS Series and it's games.
The visual customization and atmosphere was on a decent level to represent nowadays a close "NFS Underground 3" concept and maybe only the story characters were behaving crazy and showing nowadays trends and mainstream just a little too much in my own opinion.
In general it was all nicely put together to make a long game progressing using the story to have different approaches of racing for example you could go for race events, drifts, or combined events or of course the Police Chases missions. Later even more content in free updates was a thing with some content, events and improvements with very challenging "Prestige Mode"
Here however I will show you the beginning of the game, the few first races of the prologue and one race in the Most Wanted BMW M3 for the "Deluxe Edition" owners with a short police chase.
I hope after a time I will be able to present a more interesting Police Chase for this game but more details on it soon.
