Need for Speed II (PS1) - Part 10: Knockout Competition & Credits
Knockout Competition
*This video was recorded from OBS Studios, and rendered in 1080p HD.
I am playing this game on the PS3, which runs a PS1 disc as backward compatibility. PS1 discs can run on PS2 and PS3, except PS2 discs cannot run on PS3 slim models, as they can only run on the original PS3 model. You can expect to play PS1 and PS2 titles you just got from the PlayStation Store. Specifically, you can play these classic games from PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP on the Catalog while using PlayStation Plus Premium on PS4 and PS5.

Knockout mode is a competition where racers must strive to survive each race. If you finish in a better position, you will advance to the next round. However, finishing in last place results in elimination from the competition. There are no Restarts allowed in this Knockout format. Focus on achieving a better position and avoiding last place to stay in the competition. If you succeed in winning the Knockout series, you will unlock Monolithic Studios, one of the bonus tracks featured in NFS II. Located in Los Angeles, California, Monolithic Studios features prop stages filled with Easter eggs from popular films such as Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, Blade Runner, Jurassic Park, and Jaws.
You can also unlock Monolithic Studios early by typing the cheat "hollywood" for PC at the loading menu, and for the original PlayStaion console, type the password "SHOTME" to unlock this bonus track.
