Need for Speed is DEAD?
Is Need for Speed Dead? EA and Criterion Games released some information recently regarding Criterion Game's move to the Entertainment division of EA, under the control of Vince Zampella. Criterion states that Need for Speed and Criterion Games will be under EA Entertainment and will assist in the development of the next Battlefield game alongside Dice.
While this is extremely disappointing news that Criterion games has again been sidelined to assist other developers instead of being able to focus strictly on Need for Speed, this could be a positive move in the long run if EA Entertainment allows Criterion to have more time to develop the next Need for Speed game. We also do not know about the future of Need for Speed Unbound and it's content updates going forward with this.
