Blackridge is celebrating 25 years of Need For Speed by hosting tournaments every day featuring events inspired by the best and most popular titles in the series, and Kim's cut you deal of securing a highly coveted Bugatti Chiron if you win them all. Today, it's Carbon. I kinda figured that Jaxon would be Blackridge's Darius, but was Beck a former cop turned racer/bounty hunter like Cross? Who knows.

Released in 2006, Need For Speed Carbon served as a sequel to Most Wanted, with the story beginning years after reclaiming the M3 GTR from Razor. The player heads home to Palmont City, only to wreck his BMW after an unlikely run-in with Cross. Now, in order to pay a debt and get back up in the world, you help Darius by claiming turf from other crews, but soon go after him after finding out who really is the mastermind behind a lot of events that happened before you fled to Rockport. The game possessed the same features and physics as Most Wanted with a couple of differences here and there that made it stand out from its predecessor, typically crew racing, park and canyon drift, and everyone's favorite, Canyon Duels.
