Blackridge is celebrating 25 years of Need For Speed by hosting tournaments every day featuring events inspired by the best and most popular titles in the series, and Kim's cut you deal of securing a highly coveted Bugatti Chiron if you win them all. Today, it's Underground, where your rep is important, pink slips are all the rage, and where the night never ends. Underground came out in 2003 and became one of NFS's most successful titles as it adhered to fans who wanted their own slice of Fast & Furious on their consoles or computers. It was one of the first of its kind to feature in-depth performance & visual customization where developer EA Black Box took the risk of ditching cops and exotics in favor of tuners and JDM imports. Because of its success in 2003, EA loved the title so much they permitted Black Box to create a direct sequel to that game. Dubbed Underground 2, this game became an even more successful title with millions of copies sold worldwide and billions of fans wanting and waiting for ANOTHER direct sequel...if it ever comes to pass.
