NEED HELP! (RC Goblin/Bandit/Tiger)

This either doesn't work on PS2 Version 1.03 OR I am doing something wrong and a tiny detail (as usual) isn't explained properly and/or at all.
I am in the process of obtaining the Unique/AP RC Goblin (the first of three nightmares to await me). I do the Method up until I am ready to hold a Phone Call and buy a Ticket at the SF Airport and then accept the Gym Moves (timing) and jump out of the Plane, head to Zero's HOLDING a Call to start this Mission and here is where it all goes wrong.
Notice his Videos, how you see a School Icon and a Money Icon on his Map, since he's OM0, like you're supposed to be. For me, I don't see ANYTHING as if I am OM1. I did in fact go through the torture already of holding X and Square down, holding the Left Joystick all the way forward, and then using the RIGHT Joystick to make CJ turn (since moving the Left Stick will eventually destroy the RC Goblin) and find my way back to Doherty. I've already FOUND the Driving School, entered, exited, but when I exit it, you're supposed to HEAR A PHONE RINGING and mine is not! So the Method can't continue. Something went wrong somewhere. But where? But how? I did EVERYTHING EXACTLY up until this point. Go ahead, watch both Videos and you will see the SAME SETUP for the Goblin and Bandit until reaching Zero's RC Shop holding that Call. Only three people have Videos showing these things and NONE of the three people EVER reply to me and nowhere does it say WHERE AND WHEN to release the Call when you get into Zero's Red Marker to begin the Mission. I suspect because I am doing THIS PART wrong, it's why the Phone isn't ringing when I exit the Driving School.
All I gotta do is have a Phone ringing when I exit Driving School and then I just get to the Quarry and do some more fuckery and then guide CJ and the Goblin back to Whitewood Estates and it's done with, onto the RC Bandit and Tiger, but yeah, everyone with Videos neglected to say this very important piece of information. Rty's Video in the Description says "Start New Model Army." Ok, nice bro, and now when do you release the Call, since, in fact you ARE HOLDING one when you enter the Marker. I assure you guys, I won't fail you or let you down. Once ***I KNOW*** how to do this nonsense, I'll have proper Videos for the Guide, proper explanations, so nobody gets lost and feels hopeless waiting for random people to reply who never will.
Can anyone help?!
P.S. - I bet I don't even have to jam the RC Goblin against the wall like that. Melancholia DOES NOT DO THIS in his Bandit or Tiger Video, but does in the Goblin Video. Goblin Video is outdated, what he shows in the other Videos is more like it, but again, what is he even doing there, so he can run on foot and all this nonsense across the Map whilst NOT destroying the RC Goblin. I don't get it...
