RC Tiger (This One Wasn't So Bad)
19And the journey to obtain and have all three of these toys in my SECOND and FINAL Save File for SA on PS2 has come to an end. Two days ago, I got the Unique/AP RC Goblin. Yesterday, I got the Unique/EP/FP RC Bandit. Today, I got the Unique RC Tiger and this one seemed to be the easiest of the three.
With that said, a lot can still go wrong, after a lot of time wasted. Also, in my case using the added step of using Vigilante in the sequence of Setup things, I had to then use a HUNTER (since it's a Police Vehicle and a Helicopter, like the Maverick used in the Method) to activate Vigilante in and release the Call. Then land it near Zero's and hold R3, get out, walk over to an invisible Red Marker, release R3, and let the Mission begin whilst spamming X. Once again worked like a charm.
Where things can go wrong is when you're in the RC Battle Arena and have to push the RC Tiger to a spot. You're timed. Take too long, redo the entire process. Once the Flight ends, you have to have the RC Tiger already in that spot, with a Plank sitting on top of it. If you managed to do that all quickly and fast, the next bits actually aren't that bad...Until you reach the Quarry, that is. Even here, it's not as bad as the Goblin, but it's still annoying because you have to destroy your FIRST RC Goblin, then jump into an invisible Red Marker. But, that annoying Phone keeps ringing. Until it stops, finally, and if you jumped INTO the Red Marker and not somewhere else, Quarry is activated. Then you just free the RC Tiger by bumping it (Plank used so you can find it later, right now) and hit pause to see where it lands. It should land over the Bridge. If it does (and doesn't blow up, fingers crossed), easy to descend down there, put the SECOND RC Goblin the water, and then cancel out of Ammunation and go get the Tractor from Fort Carson.
Surprisingly, I didn't think finding the RC Tiger or towing it was THAT bad, but it still sucks. Traffic can ram you, then you have to try and find the damn thing again (invisible) and re-hook it up to the Tractor. AT the Garage, it likes to fall off, too. I was lucky in this Video showing it, but in previous tries, it fell off, didn't want to waste time, thus reloaded the Save State until I could do it all in one go getting it into the Garage without falling off.
Finally. Time to complete the Save. I am 97.86%. I will pass New Model Army next, I suppose, keep the Call I have been using so I can obtain the EASY Unique/EP/FP RC Baron from Beefy Baron, then obtain 3X easy EC2 Remington's and finish to 100%. All that would remain is 7 AP Conversion and 5 Vehicles from Races and it's over with. Just mere days until I finish, I suppose and then can show this MASSIVE Save File Showcase which includes the 13.90% Starter Save and two 100% Saves. First with 76 Special Vehicles, second with 63. 3-4 hour Video incoming...
P.S. - THANK GOD I did not date Denise during the time I was obtaining the Hotring Racer A/B and instead used the Atrium! If I would of dated Denise? No Tiger in the Save, cuz her Red Marker would of been disabled and you need it for the Tiger Setup. I got this Tiger. Now Denise is gone. Barbara, Millie, and now Denise. Gone. Only three Girls remains for 7 AP Conversions. I'll make it work, since I know how, but seriously...PS2 V1 and these stupid broken Girlfriends. Wow...
