According to a recent study from researchers at the University of Washington, negative nerd stereotypes appeared to dissuade women from wanting to study computer sciences. (Read here: http://bit.ly/11GqHM4).
It's true, there are FAR fewer women in the sciences or STEM jobs, but why? Is it all a "branding" problem? Is telling women they're worse at math and science priming them for failure?
