Description:
The planet went through a series of major ecological disasters, resulting in humanity hibernating in pods while nanomachines fix the environment. After the humans reawaken, they gain the ability to harness ESP as a new form of energy, but they also have to fight off bizarre humanoid foes known as Rioters. Kana Aizawa is an Operator who can use ESP to fight against Rioters, but during a life-or-death situation, she manages to use the Virtual Drive to gain the same basic combat abilities as Zero from the Megaman Man X timeline. With this Virtual Drive, Kana needs to gain the power of other Operators and discover the secrets of NEO Babylon and the Chaos incidents.

One of the scientists has the family name of Aizawa. Is she Kana's mother?
This kind of spoils that the world Kana is in might not be the real one.
2:24 Kana's Room
Kana is taking on a job to protect a package containing the Virtual Drive. Unfortunately, the Rioters immediately attack her warehouse.
4:01 Warehouse
You don't have dashing, charged shots, divekicks, or a sword yet. Your basic gun is enough for the most generic mooks, but the Elite Rioter Negi steals Kana's plane and drops missiles on her. Kana uses the Virtual Drive to gain all those abilities I mentioned and fight her way to the boss room.

There's an achievement for killing her with one of her own explosive boxes, but you can refight her in the training room later if you can't get it now.
9:26 Mission Complete
I only got S-Rank. There's actually a V-Rank, but it requires getting the combo score higher.
10:22 Operating Base
Kana wakes up in what seems to be her room, but now it's connected to a mysterious base.
She is greeted by Blue, an androgynous robot who tells her that she is now a certified Pro Operator. Blue's organization will provide logistical support to Kana so she can resolve Chaos incidents. Oh, and the next Chaos incident is on High Street.
Stor, as his name implies, sells consumables and upgrades, but he seems to be hiding a lot of information from us.
OKHJ is a friendly Rioter who manages the training room.
19:17 Basic Movement Training
This repeatable training mission actually spawns enemies, which means you can get data chips and money to drop if you're lucky. It might not be worth it unless you're desperate though.

Note that you can cancel out of any mission and restart it, but your energy won't be restored like your HP. If you want to restore energy, you can always use the Basic Movement Training mission. For winning the rematch, you get some EC, but that's a one-time reward.
