Description:
The planet went through a series of major ecological disasters, resulting in humanity hibernating in pods while nanomachines fix the environment. After the humans reawaken, they gain the ability to harness ESP as a new form of energy, but they also have to fight off bizarre humanoid foes known as Rioters. Kana Aizawa is an Operator who can use ESP to fight against Rioters, but during a life-or-death situation, she manages to use the Virtual Drive to gain the same basic combat abilities as Zero from the Megaman Man X timeline. With this Virtual Drive, Kana needs to gain the power of other Operators and discover the secrets of NEO Babylon and the Chaos incidents.

Stor hacks into the Virtual Drive and stuns both Kana and the clone. Devitt Glock shows up and gloats that he'll defeat Ridley. Glock is the guy working with Aizawa Mika in the opening cutscene and the two put humanity into the virtual world.

Obviously, Stor won't be working here now that he's outed as a traitor, Strangely, Blue doesn't remember him, which means Stor might have hacked Blue. Is Blue going to be forced to betray me?
The new shopkeeper is Henry, a Neo Babylon official. He fixes our Virtual Drive and apologizes for not seeing through Stor earlier. He also teaches Kana about De-Compile, her unique technique derived from the Hyper-Computation ability. The seemingly weak support-type ability is useful for curing people of even fatal levels of Chaos infection, resulting in Nezumi regaining his humanity.
