Nerdy vs Virus: #Duskmourn Prerelease Match #MTG|| Terminally Nerdy
3So on 9/20 I went to my FLGS to participate in the Duskmourn Prerelease event. I went 3-0 in the event with a Mardu based deck. My event was only run with 3 rounds, and prizes were based on individual showing so I got the max prize.
My friend Virus went to his FLGS on the 21st, and also participated in their event. He went 4-1, and came in 3rd overall with a Golgari deck. His store ran it more like a traditional tournament with points and such.
Both of us got back into paper Magic due to each other, and the fact that Spelltable exists allows us to play against each other. And we both had the same thought: How would our 40 card decks, built from 6 Duskmourn boosters, fare against each other?
So here we are! Using Spelltable we are doing a Best of 3 Match using the very decks we played at our individual events.

Also we played a 3rd game off camera and I got mana screwed with no white mana. Blood stupid deck XD
