The Engineer's Fang injures healthy Survivors that you hit with a chain at the cost of only spawning 2 (instead of 3) chains when they're already injured. This small change makes chains much less effective in chase. However, if you pair this add-on with the "Greasy Black Lens" you can use the aura reading effect to still have some advantage in chase and mitigate this otherwise major downside. Overall, I still think the add-on is worth running if you are careful with how you use it.
