The new anvil receiver hop up is actually crazy in apex legends season 3. Season 3 of apex legends just came out on Tuesday and with the recent update, respawn introduced 2 new hop ups to the game. One of them being the anvil receiver rounds which can either go on the flatline or the R-301. In this season 3 apex legends gameplay I ended up using the anvil rounds on the flatline. These anvil receiver rounds slow the fire rate of the gun pretty dramatically, but does way more damage if you connect on a shot than the regular base rounds that comes with the gun.

I will say that the anvil reciever rounds on the R-301 is a bit better as I think it shoots faster, but that could just be my personal preference because I like that gun better anyways. Overall these anvil rounds melt in apex legends season 3 and serve the purpose of a sniper rifle or a more powerful scout in my opinion. I will definitely be picking these up more often and using them in long range gunfights.
