Apple TV OS 4.3 offers a few new interesting features. The update now allows the ability to purchase and re-download TV shows from the iTunes Store. Previously, the Apple TV could only rent shows or playback TV shows purchased on a computer. Shows purchased on a computer are streamed from the computer to the Apple TV via iTunes.
The new ability not only allows users to purchase shows, but expands the available library beyond the limited rental options. Only a couple networks are on board with Apple's $0.99 rental scheme, which considerably limits available content from the Apple TV couch. In addition, it also appears that all shows that have been previously purchased from the iTunes Store are available for streaming on the Apple TV.
Also, the update as indicate adds support for Vimeo video sharing service.
