Beta 2.02 for rome total war remastered was released roughly 7 weeks after the first patch and it’s at a whole new level compared to the first one & having read through all the notes and played it a bit in the last week I have to say it’s actually quite promising.

There’s a wide range of issues addressed from fixing AI behaviour to additions of new modding capabilities that do make the game more and more like what I expected at launch a few months ago now.

So In this video I’ll be running through the major sections of the patch, how it will affect gameplay, the modding potential and why in the next few months you should probably dust it off the shelf and give it another go.
