They won't be related to the original story I wrote for them. I'll change that and come with some designs later on.
I just really wanted to give these 2 a chance to become something.

Anyways, here's some of the darker bits to their characters:


Vikesh
-------
Vikesh grew up alongside nature and wildlife. He doesn't understand much of social constructs, but still resorts to try and solve the issue. Him and his family was heavily threatened in the past, as people never really liked witches. Even in the present, some people refuse to accept them into society. Vikesh has always been a special kid. Despite that he's from a bloodline of witches, his thought process has always been abnormal, even to witches. He never really cared for it, and just came to terms with it as a part of him. As he grew, he became curious of many things, and hoped that he could learn to understand by getting closer to the cities and villages. His life in the nature is something he'll always hold onto, no matter what.

Vikesh lost his father at a young age, and grew up as an only-child with his mother. They lived off selling potions and herbs to those who couldn't afford medical care, or weren't able to reach the nearest hospitals. He was aware of it as a kid, and kept trying his best to help his mother out. This lead him into quite the dangerous situations, but he didn't care about what it took, as long as he could help. He was denied multiple times by his mother, because she thought it was wrong of her to let her child run off into such dangerous environments. When she did it, it only worried him even more. His mother worked almost all day long, and only took short breaks to rest and eat. As he grew older, it turned into fights. After he turned 19, his mother passed away from starvation. It took him long to overcome, but now that he's moved past it, he sees it as something to grow from. He does his best to help people, but knows where his limits are.

Eldoris

As a kid, he was constantly ignored. Eldoris spent almost every second of his day alone. He'd watch as his family left and returned, by dawn and dusk. He was like a ghost. His meals where some that he was just lucky to find, even more lucky if it wasn't from a trash can. No one ever taught him anything, took care of him, or even acknowledged his existence. He was honestly fine with it after a while. The life alone wasn't too difficult. Stay underwater until dusk, get to the surface and look for food, then back to hiding. The same cycle every day, for years on end.

It wasn't until he by accident ran into a situation at the wrong time. He bore witness to a siren, actively taking the life of someone from the surface. The siren didn't stop at just drowning the person, but began eating them. He had no idea how to find the difference between a siren and merfolk. No one ever taught him. Eldoris was horrified, heck, traumatized by what he has just witnessed. He made the decision to flee up to the surface, and never EVER go back down. Suddenly, he was scared of himself, thinking that he was that kind of monster. He wandered the harbours thin, just trying to survive. Eventually, an old man found him asleep, and took him to an orphanage not so far away. After about a year, he was given a safe place to stay, but it didn't change his way of thinking. Eldoris only ever thought of survival, never living. The nice people who had taken him in began teaching him about human behaviours and culture, and once he had gotten the basis out of the way, he even began attending school. These kind people gave him a chance on the surface, despite his inhuman nature. However, one of the days his (adoptive) mother and sister had been in a car accident, leaving him alone with his father. They took care of each other for a while, until he eventually lost as well to his sorrow. This left him alone, once again. After that, he swore to never let anyone close, or to ever care about someone enough to fear losing them.
