Dexter's upcoming revival series was only announced late last year, but now we already have a teaser and a release date.

The upcoming 10-part Showtime reboot will be set a decade after the original show's controversial finale, with Michael C Hall returning as the eponymous serial killer.

In a new teaser clip, which appears to pick up after the finale, we see (a now beardless) Dexter Morgan look out of a log cabin window at a burning fire, before turning to the camera and smiling.

The teaser also reveals that the show will be coming this autumn – so mark your calendars.
