It is a question that ad agencies are having trouble answering- how to reach more potential gamers? Why not do like the Volgarr the Viking publisher did, they released that game on the Sega Dreamcast, for free. It got them a ton of press and more gamers found out about the game- potential buyers of the game on Steam and modern consoles (gotta get those achievements/trophies, etc).
