Today we are unboxing and reviewing the first of the brand new March 2024 Harry Potter Lego sets. This set is the incredible Talking Sorting Hat set #76429, with 561 pieces. The two biggest topics of discussion for this set is, one the price, and second the new Lego element the sound brick. Unboxing this set we find 7 bags, 1 book, and a sticker sheet of two stickers. Building the set is very fun, and not difficult at all. The time to build was under 2 hours going at a very casual pace. Once the set is built, you can see that the sound brick is activated in two ways, the top of the pointy hat, and also on the bottom, incase you want to place it on your head. When you activate it one of either of the ways, the eye brows and mouth of the hat move to simulate what you see in the movies. The biggest issue with my hat, it sorts me in Ravenclaw like 80% of the time. I maybe have heard 15 sounds out of the 31 that is advertised with the hat so far. I really love this hat and feel it is a great conversation piece even though. The Talking Sorting Hat does cost $99 US, but with the understanding of how much more production goes into the sound brick, this price is easily understandable. I definitely recommend this set, I have a policy with Lego that is anything under $100 is cheap. This hat sorts itself nicely in this policy. This was a different but fun video to make, as I got to interact with the hat. I hope you all enjoy this video and can see the fun I had making it. As always please comment your thoughts down below.
