This video is filmed with the new DJI Osmo Pocket 3.
Today on the channel we are unboxing and reviewing the new Lego Technic set the Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance set #42171 with 1,642 pieces. This set will be heavily compared to the 2022 McLaren F1 build, but I am saving all that I can for a separate video. This set does cost $220, and is indicated on the box to be 1:8 scale. The coolest part of this build for me is the fact that 6 months ago I was a F1 zero, to where now I am a huge fan. So it is really fun to understand what exactly I’m building this time around. Unboxing the set we find 12 bags, 2 bags of loose large pieces, 4 tires, and an envelope. In the envelope we find 2 massive sticker sheets and a thick large book. Unfortunately I experienced camera issues and could not break down the build size among other things before transitioning directly into the review. The build went very easy, and I made less then 5 errors while building. I am not sure how long the build took, but I built it while watching 3 F1 Saudi Arabia practice sessions, and qualifying. I had to build my new F1 car while watching F1. Reviewing the set we make several passes over the car describing all the stickers, livery, sponsors, and piece details. Im almost sure we didn’t point out everything, as this has so much to discuss. Wrapping up the video I do indicate, with the amount of new pieces making the aerodynamic design, they are lost in all the black. I also discuss the stickers, as there was over 70 in this large car. Finally I mention that they should have numbered the car to Lewis Hamilton, as these is his final season with Mercedes. I really love this build, I knew I would when I saw the release. I enjoyed building it even more, this set is a definite recommend for anyone who love Lego and F1, and especially if you have the McLaren already. I do wish the video came out better, I hate loosing footage, but I hope you all enjoy it regardless. As always please comment your thoughts down below.
