In this beginners guide to the various launchers and store-fronts that abound on PC, I try to bring the new PC gamer up to speed on this confusing world, and hopefully offer some good advice on the best place to purchase games from.
In my opinion, it's best to get games from Steam. Add what you'd like to buy to your wish list, and then get them when one of the many Steam Sales comes around, or look on keys sites where they can be even cheaper.
Of course some games are exclusive to their own stores and platforms, and alsways remember to check for the weekly free games on the Epic Stores & Amazon Prime Gaming.
