New strange menu glitch in the speedrun mod

You can see that the room transitions just cut abruptly the screen and goes straight to black, avoiding the classic fade-out. Probably this might make the transitions faster.

The main issue with this glitch is that the game pauses but doesn't show up the minimap or any new screen at all, the game looks like it freezes but the menu is still there.
