We come across some interesting stages in Rock-Candy Mines, first up is Light Blocks, Dark Towers which has Light Blocks, and you can light up using a Super Star, and the next level has Piranha Plants, and there is the Thrilling Spine Coaster, a very tricky, but scary level.

Light Blocks, Dark Tower is an interesting level, as there are glowing blocks that shift on or off, and there are many Swoopers and Fire Bros. in that level, and when you use a Super Star, you can light up the whole area.
It is time for the Walking Piranha Plants!, where you can swing from chain to chain, don't know why a Baby Yoshi would be in the overworld when it has no use for that level. There is a secret exit in that level that allows you to access a secret path from the next tower to the castle to fight Roy Koopa.
Here is the Spine Coaster, which is accessed through a secret exit in Screwtop Tower, and we ride it like a roller coaster, the title is a reference to Roller Coaster Tycoon, because that would be a missed opportunity if I didn't name the title after it. This can be a tricky level if you are trying to get the Star Coins, and for the final Star Coin, Nabbit can easily get it, removing the requirement of having a Super Star that every other character has.
