A new update for Nintendo Switch Online has added two new NES games and two Special Edition games. The two Special Edition games being Metroid and Blaster Master, while the two new games are Super Mario Bros. 2 and Kirby's Adventure.
Here is Super Mario Bros. 2, which in Japan is known as Super Mario USA, where in Japan, their Super Mario Bros. 2 was known as Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels outside of Japan. In this game, you have four playable characters, those being Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool, she wasn't known as Peach at the time. The good thing about the characters is that they have different stats, Mario being the all-around character, Luigi has a higher jump, Toad is the fastest character, and Princess Toadstool can float in midair.
This game is based on a Japanese game called Doki Doki Panic, a 1987 game released on the Famicom in Japan, and it did have enemies that appeared in Super Mario Bros. 2, those being Shy Guys, Bob-ombs and Pokeys, which go on to become main series Mario enemies. This game also had some Boss Fights, including Birdo, Mouser, Tryclyde, Fryguy and the main villain of this game, Wart.
Another thing to note is that the stage Mushroom Kingdom II from Super Smash Bros. Melee originated from this game, even though it is not in the Mushroom Kingdom, instead we are in the dream world of Subcon.
