4We have cleared World 1, and it is time for Layer-Cake Desert, which should be more challenging than Acorn Plains. This is a desert world, so expect to see some Pokeys and other desert-dwelling enemies, as we go through Layer-Cake Desert. We also encounter Nabbit for the first time.

Layer-Cake Desert is our second world, and the Koopaling we will have to deal with is Morton Koopa Jr., but it won't be in this video, instead it will cover the first level till the tower.
After clearing Stone-Eye Zone, Nabbit will show up and he will appear in Acorn Plains way, when you catch Nabbit, you get a reward from Toad.
Next is Perilous Pokey Cave, and fun fact, when The Runaway Guys played this game on the Wii U, one of the guys mentioned posting on Miiverse saying that the level had Pokeys, and it got flagged for spoilers, even though it had the word Pokey in the title. Nice thing about the Pokeys is that they can change into a fruit form, where if Yoshi eats them, the segments add up to the meter, giving you an easy way to obtain power-ups.
Fire -Snake Cavern introduces a new enemy called Fire Snakes, as well as the Glowing Baby Yoshi, and I didn't realize that you can flip over a Fire Bro. when using the spin jump while holding the Glowing Baby Yoshi.
