New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe Playthrough 4: The Piranha Plants in the Desert
2On with the second half of Layer-Cake Desert, and some levels have different enemies, one level has Spikes and the other has Lakitus and Piranha Plants. As we go through the desert mushrooms, the sand geysers and others as we go and take on Morton Koopa Jr. in his castle.

The first level in this video is Spike's Spouting Sands, which is filled with Spikes, an enemy that can throw Spiked Balls at anyone underneath them, and you can get a Mini Mushroom to obtain one Star Coin, there is also a Secret Exit in that level.
Dry Desert Mushrooms has many mushroom platforms and Stone Spikes, which are different to the Spike enemies, and Blooming Lakitus is filled with Piranha Plants, and a Lakitu will throw an alternative to Spiny Eggs called Gลซrindai, which turn into Piranha Plants. The fact this video goes up and Piranha Plant is now available for purchase in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, I didn't think that would coincide well.
The boss of this world is Morton Koopa Jr., who waits in his Compactor Castle, in the boss fight, Morton uses a giant hammer to knock segments of a Big Pokey at you, once all the segments are gone, that's when you can jump on Morton, he isn't too difficult.
The secret level is Piranha Plants on Ice, which one again Nabbit is very overpowered in this level as the Piranha Plants can't harm him, but he is not immune to being crushed from ice blocks. After completing the level, you can go all the way to Soda Jungle, skipping two other worlds.
