in 1.3, There were only 9 crates. Now, 26 crates! 4 crate from desert (oasis), ocean, tundra, and underworld. AND, we have hardmode version of already-existing crates! yeah! NO MORE WOODEN CRATE EXPLOIT! now you're only able to obtain hardmode stuff in, hardmode!
I mean, but it's better than nothing, When I first played 1.4 in Journey mode, I couldn't find that FREAKING LAVA CHARM. I searched every chest -correction, only lava-layered ones, not every-. I even created & searched for it in 10 WORLDS. and guess what? nope. I gave up and I realized fishing helps, and I finally got it... from fishing.... this is disgrace to my family.
