Today I tried out a demo of a game called DAVID. It's a SciFi wave shooter played in a third-person perspective. You control two ships, each one with each hand. You need to destroy all fleets in each round to progress.

A challenging arcade shooter with gorgeous cinematic space visuals that reminds me of a Star Wars movie. I like the unique take of TPP instead of FPP.

I personally would have liked more unique mechanics related to the controller buttons (e.g. activating shield), visual effects when you move the ship from side to side, better music, and more refined sound effects. It's not great, but a fun experience as far as the demo goes.

You can download this VR game via the SideQuest app. Tested on Oculus Quest 2.
