495Chiori has now been officially confirmed as the latest five star character who will be added to the playable roster in version 4.5. We will to wait for the beta to see her actual gameplay, but there's already plenty of data available regarding her kit.
The numbers might change when the beta starts, but her overall kit will remain same as the current information we have right now. So in this video, we will discuss everything about chiori.
First of all, she is a sub-dps unit and she has great potential to deal a decent amount of off field damage. According to the recent leaks shared by hxgdiluc, Chiori is a Geo Sub-DPS unit that can deal a crazy amount of off-field damage.
The damage is comparable to Raiden Shogun, Ayaka's Elemental Burst, and Navia's Elemental Skill. Chiori's ascension stat will be a CRIT Rate stat, meaning it would be relatively easy to build her with a decent CRIT Value. The source also claims that she will likely get a signature Sword with CRIT DMG stats, implying that she would be a 5-star unit.
Furthermore, she uses dual blades while performing Normal Attacks, similar to Alhaitham, and this has been confirmed by today's drip marketing. It is also known that Chiori's kit scales on both defense and attack at the same time, meaning she is dual scaling, which is another aspect that is similar to Alhaitham. Her defense and attack multipliers are 6:4.
According to other sources, FouL, Uncle K, and GenshinMeow, Chiori's splash art features a doll or a mannequin, which might be part of her Elemental Burst as well. She also supposedly relies on the Geo Constructs and Elemental Shards created by other party members for buffs. However the leaks also state that Chiori's doll/mannequin is not considered a Geo Construct, suggesting she needs more Geo units in her party.
The geo construct on field will increase the number of dolls summoned, and the Maximum number of dolls that can be summoned is two.
Chiori's constellation one, increases the damage dealt by her dolls. And her C2 cancel outs her Limitations of number of dolls that can be summoned at C0. Also, you can summon the doll by using normal attacks at her C2. Her C6 makes her a DPS like Nahida & Yelan.
The source has also mentioned that husk of opulent dreams set will be the best set for chiori.
Chiori's talents are related to geo damage and geo construct enhancements. Her elemental skills summons a doll, and her elemental burst is purely for damage purpose.
The doll aspect is even prominent in her Elemental Skill, which is expected to summon such puppets to the field. Moreover, it is expected that her key constellations may focus on buffing these summonings.
As I mentioned, she uses dual blades while performing Normal Attacks. However, since she is rumored to be a Sub-DPS unit and most of her damage is expected to come from her Elemental Burst, her Normal Attack is expected to be just for show and might not be useful.
And at last, Albedo and Arataki itto both are expected to get a rerun in 4.5. So if you're waiting for any of these characters, start saving some primogems.
