Moving on, some big changes are coming in genshin impact. Yesterday i made a video about 4.5 banners, in which i told you about the upcoming rerun banners & also shared my personal views with you guys, but today we have new information about the 4.5 banners.
God knows how many times i have mentioned the triple banners in genshin impact. But there was always a confusion, as to how the new banner system will be implemented. Some said that we will get triple banners in both phases, which would make things very difficult for casual free to play players. Others said we'll have three phases in the patch, each phase lasting for 14 days.
There were also rumors about a birthday banner, which was a pretty good idea, as every character could get a rerun once every year. But it seems that none of these predictions are true, instead, we will get a completely new banner system.
According to renowned leaker HXG diluc, hoyoverse will introduce an independent banner system based on different regions. He said that 4.5 will have a mondstadt based banner, and it won't feature just one or two characters, it will feature multiple characters from mondstadt, just like the standard banner but with limited characters.
And it's not only for characters, it will also feature multiple weapons, just like the epitomized path. If this is true, this will be similar to the present standard banner, where we can randomly get non limited characters & weapons, but this new banner will feature limited characters and weapons.
The only character informed to be on this new banner is Albedo. But i think that if it's a mondstadt speacil banner, other characters like klee and eula could also be there, along with their signature weapons.
If 4.5 features the mondstadt special banner, that could also mean that every time we get a new update, the special banner will rotate the characters & weapons. What i mean to say is, 4.5 will feature characters from mondstadt because 4.5 is a mondstadt related patch, due to the windblume festival.
We know that 4.6 will be a Fontaine related patch as we will get a new area, new weekly boss and more. So that means 4.6 might feature a Fontaine special banner, but this is only my guess. But it doesn't make any sense if the new banner doesn't change with each update, because if not, it will be just another standard banner with mondstadt characters.
On a related note, other banners for version 4.5 has been revealed by some reliable sources. But take them with a grain of salt, because they're subject to change.
Phase 1 of version 4.5 will feature chiori and arataki itto's banners, along with their signature weapons. And you will be surprised to know that we also have info on the 4 star characters. According to HomDGCat, Xingqiu, Gorou & Yunjin might feature on these two banners.
In the phase 2, kazuha and neuvillette will be featured, along with their signature weapons. There's no information about the 4 stars in second phase however.
Free to play players, please save as many primogems as you can in the current patch if you're planning to get some characters in 4.5. Because 4.5 is a filler patch, and will not provide you with more than 60 wishes, so spend your wishes accordingly.
